When I think of Detroit I envision a city thats dead (or dying), its hey day long gone. Visiting there a few times late 2007 and early 2008 I had a chance first hand to see what happens to a city and its surroundings when major industry dies.
While at Starbucks this morning, waiting for my latte, I happen to notice The Globe and Mail Report on Business cover page that has an excellent story about the city entitled “The Consumer Dream Gears Down”. The picture below from the cover page really caught my eye.
So what could happen next? GM considers bankruptcy as bailout talks collapse.
